TCV ticketsFor international tickets, a special international tariff is used to obtain prices. A surcharge has to be paid for certain trains (for instance, for ICE trains) or specific market prices apply to them (e.g. TGV, Thalys and other trains). Discounts For travel to Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey, ticket prices are 30% lower than those in international transport. There is an additional 20% discount for return journeys to Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Validity Ordinary tickets are valid for 2 months. B.I.J. international tickets25 to 40% discount applies to the B.I.J. tickets that are meant for young people up to 26 years of age traveling in the 2nd class to the following European countries: Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Switzerland. The tickets are available at all major train stations in Slovenia and are valid for two months. City Star InternationalThe City Star International tickets are flat-rate type tickets for individuals’ and groups’ return journeys from Slovenia to a foreign destination. The return journeys must start on Sundays. This special limitation does not apply to Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Greece. Validity: 1 month Destinations The tickets are used for travel from Slovenia to Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia or Greece. Regio ASDestinations Applies to return journeys in 2nd class of all trains to the following Austrian cities: Villach, Klagenfurt or Graz. Validity: 6 days. Discounts The holders of the EURO<26 card receive an additional discount. Children up to 15 years of age receive a discount of 50%. Flat-rate prices also apply to weekly and monthly tickets, and tickets for the transporting of bicycles. Other discounted cards and ticketsGlobal Price tickets, Thalys trains, InterRail tickets (For more information, please ask at information desks of all major train stations in Slovenia).
